Tuna Poke Bowls

Oh my goodness am I hooked on this recipe. Of course, if you are not a fan of raw fish, then click on another recipe choice. But if you love sushi or are an adventuresome eater, please give this a try.

3/4 of the family loved this. If you have someone who won’t or can’t eat raw tuna, then have them try it without the fish.

Tuna Poke Bowls

Tuna:
12-16 oz raw sashimi or frozen tuna, thawed
1/4 cup tamari or GF soy sauce
2 tablespoons sesame oil
1 teaspoon sriracha sauce
1/4 cup sliced green onions or chives
1 tablespoon sesame seeds (optional)

Other Ingredients:
Cooked Rice
Sliced Avocado
Shelled Edamame
Sliced Cucumbers
Red Onions
Pickled Ginger

  1. Dice the tuna and set aside.

  2. In a medium bowl, combine the soy sauce, sesame oil, sriracha, green onions, and sesame seeds, if using. Add the tuna and toss.

  3. Collect your other ingredients.

  4. Serve ingredients in shallow bowls, each person making a bowl to their taste.

Serves 4.
