Easy Italian Sausage Pasta

1 pound ground Italian Sausage (chicken or pork work great)
3 tablespoons tomato paste
1 cup (give or take) alfredo sauce
¼ cup wine or broth
1 pound pasta (we like Jovial GF spaghetti)

While the pasta cooks, brown the sausage in a skillet over medium heat.  Once cooked, drain any excess grease.

Return the sausage to the pan, reduce the heat to low and add the tomato paste.  Stir until it is well incorporated.  

Add about 1 cup of alfredo and stir well.  Add the wine or broth, and again, stir well to incorporate.  Bring to a slow simmer.  Let simmer for 1-2 minutes.

Remove from heat and serve over pasta, topping with parmesan cheese and fresh basil, if desired.

Serves 4-6.
