Honey Sesame Pork

2 tablespoons sesame oil, divided use
1 pound lean ground pork
1/2 cup chopped onion
2 cups broccoli (cut into smallish pieces)
1 thinly sliced bell pepper
3 tablespoons soy sauce, gluten-free if needed
1 tablespoon honey
2 tablespoons ketchup
2 tablespoons rice wine vinegar
Two cloves of garlic, minced
1 tablespoon Sriracha or hot sauce, optional
2 tablespoons sesame seeds
Chopped green onions or chives

Heat 1 tablespoon sesame oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the pork and onion and cook until the pork is no longer pink drain any excess fat and add the broccoli and red peppers to the pan with the pork cook for 5 to 6 minutes or until the vegetables are tender.

Well, these items are cooking, combine the other tablespoon of sesame oil, with the honey, soy sauce, ketchup, vinegar, garlic, and Sriracha. Stir well to combine.

Once the vegetables are tender, pour the sauce over the pork and vegetables, and cook for one minute and then serve over rice, cauliflower rice, or other desired base.

Serves 4.
