Higher Protein Peanut Butter Chocolate Chip Banana Bread (GF/DF/Grain Free)

1 ⅓ cups mashed, very ripe bananas
⅓ cup peanut butter
¼ cup maple syrup
2 eggs, whisked
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 ½ cups almond flour
½ cup vanilla protein powder
1 teaspoon baking soda
½ teaspoon salt
½ cup chocolate chips (such as Enjoy Life brand if you need DF)

Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

In a large bowl, combine the bananas, peanut butter, maple syrup, eggs, and vanilla. Stir very well to combine.

Add the flour, protein powder, baking soda, and salt. Mix very well to fully incorporate all the dry ingredients into the wet ingredients.

Add the chocolate chips and stir until fully mixed in.

Pour into one regular loaf pan or 4 mini-loaf pans.

Bake for 35-40 minutes for the mini-loaf pans, 45-55 minutes for a regular loaf pan, or until a toothpick inserted in the middle comes out clean.
